After hundreds of dogs were rescued, then reunited with their owners, or adopted, after Hurricane Harvey, the only one still remaining at a Houston, Texas shelter is Mack.

As you can see, the black lab mix is quite polished and enjoys dressing up.

Houston Pets Alive said they’re hoping his good looks and sweet, inquisitive face catches the eye of the right adopter.

He was with a foster family for a few months, but he came back to the shelter recently,” Victoria Lewis, from Houston Pets Alive, told Watchdog Mary.

Turns out poor Mack has a bit of separation anxiety after losing everything in the storm.

"His foster had a hard time with his separation anxiety and aptitude for escaping, but he's still loving and will absolutely make a wonderful addition to someone's family,” said Lewis. “We're working to highlight him and show how he embodies the spirit of Houston."

Mack absolutely loves being around people, and tries to get all the attention he can.

Lewis said Mack was named after the owner of Houston’s Gallery Furniture, Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale-- who became a local hero during Harvey. He opened his store to the public as a shelter.
