June 24, 2017: Honored to have won an Emmy Award for Consumer Investigative Reporting. Ceremony held at the Copley Marriott in Boston.
June 9, 2017: Rescue to Runway is back! Watchdog Mary had a blast walking a very cute (and strong) rescue Catahoula-Lab mix down the runway in this annual fundraiser!
March 30, 2017: Watchdog Mary was honored to walk a dog saved from the South Korean meat trade down the runway in a fashion show at the "Heaps of Hope" fundraiser. The event raised money to provide financial support for women with breast cancer.
March 25, 2017: Watchdog Mary was thrilled to co-host Survivor Tails', "Rescue Fever." The event raised thousands of dollars for dogs in need and firefighters. "Lilly the Hero Pit Bull" was also attending, celebrating her 14th birthday. Go Lilly!
February 28, 2017: "Voices Carry for Animals" radio invited Watchdog Mary back as a guest to talk about: "The (very real) massacre found along Dowdy Ferry Road," in Dallas.

May 2016: Watchdog Mary was excited to return to the stage and co-host the "Survivor Tails Rescue" annual gala at Florian Hall in Boston. The event features rescue dogs walked down the runway by firefighters who often risk their lives to save animals on the job. It's a wonderful, heartwarming event.
September 2015: Watchdog Mary walked the runway in the second annual "Rescue to Runway." She helped "model" a dog in need of a home down at the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. The event was presented in partnership by Audrey's Rescue Angels and the Slobbr app.
June 2015: Mary received an Emmy nomination for Investigative Reporting. Event held at the Copley Marriott in Boston.
June 2015: Watchdog Mary was proud to host the Charlestown YMCA's Party on the Harbor. The annual event helps to raise money and awareness for the Y's many youth programs.
February 2015: Watchdog Mary co-hosted "Survivor Tails Rescue" annual gala at Florian Hall in Boston. The rescue featured firefighters from across Massachusetts walking rescue dogs in need of homes down the runway. The rescue also gave awards to firefighters who risked their lives to save animals on the job. A fantastic event!
November 2014: Speaker at the Last Hope K9 Rescue Gala. Watchdog Mary's articles about questionable shelters were featured on the big screen in a discussion about animal rescue and how to help.
Mary was thrilled to meet "Lilly the Hero Pit Bull" who saved her owner from being hit by a train when she fell on railroad tracks. Lilly dragged her owner off the tracks, but the train struck Lilly and she lost one of her legs.. Lilly has been tirelessly working on pit bull advocacy since becoming a national hero.
United States Olympic Ice Hockey legend Kelli Stack also participated at the event with her own dog she rescued while playing at the Olympic games in Sochi, Russia.
August 2014: Mary was honored to participate in a great event for a fantastic cause. She modeled a "rescue dog" looking for a good home and walked this cutie down the runway. The event was presented in partnership by Audrey's Rescue Angels and the Slobbr app at the Boston Colonnade Hotel.
Rescue to Runway: Featuring Boston's Finest is a fashion show and charity event designed to raise critical funds for local rescue organizations. Boston celebrities walk the runway with the greatest accessory of all - an adoptable dog!
August 2014: Watchdog Mary participates in a rescue dog style ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at the Liberty Hotel's "Yappy Hour" event in Boston.
June 2014: Mary wins an Emmy at the 2014 New England Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Investigative Reporting.
May 2014: Watchdog Mary hosted the Charlestown YMCA annual fundraiser and live auction on the pier at the Residence Inn on Boston Harbor.
March 2014: Received "Anchor Award" for Investigative Reporting
March 2014: Mary received an "Anchor Award" for investigative reporting on issues in the Charlestown Navy Yard, presented to her by Boston's Mayor.
